The Heron Water Level Indicators are constructed of durable U.V. resistant engineered plastic with stainless steel fittings, quality designed to withstand years of rugged use.

Extremely Reliable!
The electronics are fully encapsulated to protect against water and mechanical damage, ensuring a long and trouble-free life. The electronic reel module is easily removed allowing rigorous decontamination of the unit.

All Heron Instrument meters operate on one 9V battery located on the reel electronic module - easy to change without dismantling the unit.

The engineering quality tapes are resin* jacketed high tensile steel for strength. The tape conductors are stainless steel for durability. A unique stainless steel and Viton link between the tape and the probe gives flexibility at this vulnerable point. Tapes are available in a choice of lengths in English or Metric units.

The ultra-slim 5/8" (15mm) diameter stainless steel probe is designed for use in a wide range of well diameters - down to 3/4" (18mm).

The unique, encapsulated probe gives leak-proof performance to the full tape depth.

A New Instrument with New Features
The small size and lightweight of the little dipper make it the ideal instrument for carry in sites, shallow wells and direct push equipment.

The little dipper utilizes many of the tried and tested components that have made its bigger brother, the dipper-T such a popular instrument with users. The narrow 3/8 in x 4 in (9.5 mm x 100 mm) probe used on the little dipper is suitable for use in piezometers and stilling pipes.

In common with other HERON quality meters the tape complies with US-GGG-T-106E, a recognized standard assuring you of reliable, repeatable and accurate measurements.

The little dipper is equipped with a brake, carrying snap hook, removable electronic panel housing the battery draw, buzzer, light, sensitivity control and circuit test button.
